Ark Auto Updater Configuration Print

The Tutorial should explain how to keep your ark server in sync when using the Auto Updater

     1. Access the configuration files editor by clicking the Configuration Files Button (Shown Below).

     2. This brings you to the editor main window (Shown Below).

     3. Select Text Editor or Configuration Editor for the GameUserSettings.ini (Show Below).

     4. Make edits in the editor

     5. Access the Commandline Editor Button (Shown Below).

     6. Press the edit button on the next window (Shown Below).

     7. On the next page hit the save button Once Saved press the preview button(Shown Below).

     8. From the preview window copy the text from here and hit ok (Shown Below).

     9. Return to main Game Server Window

    10. Repeat steps 1 & 2 This time choose the Ark Updater Text Editor (Shown Below).

    11. Find "StartParameters=" and overwrite the Current info with the info copied in step 8 Hit save and start the server

The server updater will start 10 minutes after the server starts and will shut down the server when there is an update for the server and then start the server again after the update is completed.
which is the reason this process need to happen so we can pass the command linevalues to the ArkUpdater.
